David joined Auckland Football as CEO in September 2006 having moved from his role with Bowls New Zealand which saw him manage commercial partnerships as well as marketing and communications for the national body of the sport.![]()
His football background is UK-based with his selection in his unversity's first XI the highlight of a glittering playing career that included stops in Bucks and Northants local amateur sides. The impact of his midfield distribution skills in New Zealand will be felt at over 50s level, having qualified in 2007. He is also a qualified member of the CBR and junior coaching fraternity.
David emigrated to New Zealand in 1998 with his Kiwi wife Noreen and has two children - Charlotte and Jamie.

Stevie Baxter is a former employee of the Scottish FA and Angus Council and served as a Football Development Officer from his East Coast base in Forfar, Scotland. ![]()
A UEFA B license holder working towards his UEFA A and UEFA Youth License, Stevie aims to bring more than just technical knowledge to his new role.
Married in 2010, Stevie and his wife Laura will make the trans-Atlantic journey with their family (a four-legged family variety in labrador Barney) to set up a new home in Auckland.
Stevie is looking forward to help implement the Whole of Football Plan and to work closely with players, coaches, clubs, volunteers and administrators alike across the whole of Auckland Football.

Simon joins Auckland Football from his previous position as Director of Youth Football at Eastern Suburbs AFC.
Simon will be a familiar face to a range of people in the game in Auckland after working as a representative coach for the region in various age-groups since 2003.

Steven joins the Auckland Football Federation team as a Football Development Officer after recently completing a BA (Hons) Football Studies degree at Southampton Solent University in England.
Steven has had previous experience working on developing youth football programmes in America, England and more recently New Zealand including a role as the Academy Manager of Three Kings United in Auckland.
Marvin Eakins

Marvin joined the Auckland Football team in September 2011 as the federation’s Futsal Development Officer. ![]()
Having played futsal for five years with the Auckland club East City, he has been playing for the New Zealand national side, the Futsal Whites, since 2008 and was made captain of the team in 2010.
Marvin, who also has a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Commercial Law from the University of Auckland, has been playing football for nearly 20 years and also excels in the outdoor version of the game, playing for Hawke’s Bay United in the 2010-11 ASB Premiership while playing his winter football with Lotto NRFL Men’s Premier League side Manurewa AFC.

Angela joined the Auckland Football technical team in September 2012 in her role to help foster the growth of the female game in all areas; players, coaches and referees.
Very much immersed in the game herself, Angela joined AFF from her position in player and coach development with Onehunga Mangere United AFC while she also has been involved as an assistant coach with the Cook Islands senior women's side and as the head coach of the U-17 women's team in 2012.

Don joined Auckland Football in September 2012 having moved from his role as Operations Manager with the New Zealand Customs Service which saw him manage Customs operations across New Zealand’s air and sea borders.
Born and bred in Auckland’s inner city suburbs of Samoan parents, he was introduced to football as a 12-year-old with the YMCA football club and kicked off his football career with Mount Albert Grammar School (MAGS) captaining the First XI in his final year, making the Auckland U-19 Secondary School team that same year.
Don played both rugby and rugby league codes at a senior level and can still be found playing football with Albany United in the over 35’s league in the winter and masters touch rugby at both provincial and national levels over the summer. Don is married with three grown children and is currently undertaking studies at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) Emergency Management Post Graduate Programme.

After spending almost three years working as a sports producer for the TVNZ web site, Steven joined the Auckland Football team in May 2007 in the newly-created role of Communications/Administration Manager.![]()
Steven looks after the Auckland Football news web site and is also charged with the task of keeping the wider world informed of the progress and successes of our players, teams, coaches, officials and administrators.
Steven has played the game for 20 years, most of which were spent at Pukekohe AFC. With an ankle injury forcing him from the playing field in recent years, he has turned his hand to coaching the sport he loves.
Martin Baucutt

Martin is the longest-tenured member of the Auckland Football team after being involved in the initial set up of the organisation in 2000 when Counties Manukau and Auckland were combined to form the current federation. In 2002 he took on his present role of Competitions Manager. ![]()
Like Carol, Martin was a goalkeeper in his playing days and turned out for several clubs in the UK before playing for Western AFC, Kaiapoi and Hornby on his arrival in New Zealand. Martin took up refereeing in 1983 and is now a referee coach.
Away from football, Martin owns two companies and is married to wife Lynda and has two children - Mark and Deanna.
Carol Waller

Carol is a stalwart of the women’s game in this country having completed a four-year stint on the FIFA Under-17 and Under-20 Women’s World Cup Tournament Committee but is also the administrative backbone of Auckland Football having joined the team at the end of 2004.
Carol’s varied role includes work in accounts, event management with
tournaments such as the Weir Rosebowl and co-ordinating all the behind-the-scenes requirements of the many Auckland Football representative sides. Carol was also an Auckland Football board member from 2003-2007.
A goalkeeper in her playing days, Carol played for New Zealand in 1975 and represented Auckland from 1973-1976. Carol was secretary of Eden/Three Kings United for an impressive 32-year stint until mid-2007 and is a life member of both Three Kings United and Auckland Football.
Kelly Bolus

Kelly joined Auckland Football team as Competitions Administrator in 2011 after spending all her working life (21
years) with the libraries out west.
Kelly’s role is assisting with various aspects of the management of the game from competition fixtures, team cards, match reports and the judicial processes.
She still plays the game having started playing at age 10, Kelly is on the Junior/Youth Committee of Bay Olympic Soccer and is also involved with providing the Youth Programmes for OFC and NZ Football.
Paul Smith

Paul began working as the Auckland Football Federation Referee Development Officer in April 2008 after a stint as an Accounts Administrator at New Zealand Football. In his role he is responsible for all aspects of referee recruitment, training and development in the federation.
Paul became a referee in 1981 and reached the very top of the whistleblowers fraternity with his appointment as a FIFA Assistant Referee from 1997-2002. The highlight of his career was his appearance as one of the Assistant Referees at the 2002 World Cup in Japan and Korea. Paul retired from active refereeing in 2004.
Having played both junior and senior football for Lynndale AFC as well as his lengthy service as a club administrator, Paul is a life member of the Lynn Avon United AFC club.
Steve Roberts

Steve came to Auckland Football in December 2011 from his role in the Sport Development team at Sport Waitakere where he worked alongside clubs and other organisations in the area of best practice models.![]()
His Game Development Manager role at Auckland Football is similar while he will also work on a joint project named Connect2Sport (with Auckland Council, SPARC, Sport Auckland and Auckland Badminton), a pilot programme which aims to help engage ethnic communities in Auckland in football and badminton.
On the pitch, Steve started playing football in Taranaki in the early 1970’s and he now plays in the Masters League at the West Auckland AFC where he also coaches youth football.
Steve has held many club football committee positions and currently sits on the board of Netball Waitakere.
