Three Auckland Football based players will be part of the Oly Whites squad at the London Olympics in July after the team was announced on Thursday.

Auckland City FC's Adam McGeorge, Ian Hogg and Alex Feneridis have been named in the 18-man squad as have former Auckland Football age group representatives Timothy Payne, Tim Myers and Adam Thomas.

McGeorge and Hogg, who were also Auckland Football youth representatives, were also part of the All Whites squad in the recent OFC Nations Cup tournament.

Former Auckland Football age group representative, and current Wellington Phoenix player, Cameron Lindsay has been placed on standby.
